We have carried out some research and our top 5 recommended apps, which we believe will assist recruiters in their day-to-day work life. So, take a look at what we came up with…
A social platform, comparable to Facebook, but for the business world. Use it to connect with people (like a friend request) from other businesses and industries. A great way to network with people who you could potentially do business with. LinkedIn allows you to use a Boolean search tool to find candidates with specific skills, attributes and knowledge e.g. job titles, locations and even specific companies they work or have worked with.
Asana
Asana is an application that helps you to organise yourself (and your team) in every way possible. You can easily assign work to colleagues, set reminders, due-dates & set up “to-do” lists. This app is so helpful to recruiters as it allows you to keep focused, with everything in one place. By breaking your work down into small, bite sized segments, Asana enables you to prioritise your workload effectively. You can simply see which tasks remain outstanding as well as reviewing your colleagues work and progress.
Instajob
Revamp your plain text job ads into exciting, visual marketing pieces.
Instajob uses any image you choose and gives you all the tools to create an aesthetically pleasing job advert which looks professional and statistics show that social posts which use a form of media, whether it be an image or a video etc, achieve significantly better engagement and cultivate higher results than those that don’t. A guaranteed app to set you apart from your competitors and immediately increase clicks and traffic to your website!
- Camcard
Gender Decoder
Our final app is particularly useful when it comes tailoring job adverts to be balanced and gender neutral. Gender Decoder reviews your advert text highlighting any language that may be biased. It will notify you if your terminology is too feminine or masculine sensitive. The app will also highlight to you whether men are more likely to apply for the position, as opposed to women and vice versa. We believe its important to ensure job adverts remain neutral in order to appeal to the right audience which will attract the best candidates.
