Approved/ Qualified Social Worker

Based in Essex, very close to London. Pay Rate £17-25 per hour. GSCC And NVQ beneficial

We have an exciting ongoing position for an Approved Social Worker to join the Children’s Disabilities Team based in Essex.

This is a fantastic opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  1. To monitor, review and evaluate services in order to ensure that they are provided effectively and in accordance with need.
  2. To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
    Where appropriate to act as an AMHP and participate in the local duty Rota.
  3. Provide an assessment and social work service to individuals, their carers and other agencies; delivering and maintaining care packages as appropriate.
  4. Through the assessment to process, identify and prioritise need.
  5. Initiate, coordinate, monitor and review care plans for and with individual service users and their carers, in conjunction with professional colleagues and representatives of voluntary and private agencies.
  6. Respond to and where possible, resolve complaints within the organisation's Complaints Procedure.

Pay rate is between £17 and £25 per hour plus Travel.

GSCC Registration is essential NVQ also beneficial.
