A post has become available for a Lead BMS in Pathology. This department is comprised of Histology and Cytology.

You should have extensive knowledge of Cellular Pathology and preferably hold Fellowship of the IBMS or an MSc in Biomedical Sciences and have an excellent understanding of the NHS environment. You will have recent experience of management and leadership. Continual professional development is encouraged within the Pathology Department.

You will join a newly restructured management team in the recently formed Clinical Support Division within the Trust. You will manage the Cellular Pathology Department, working closely with the Pathology Services Manager, Divisional Senior General Manager and Divisional Director, to provide strategic and developmental leadership to ensure the delivery of a diagnostic Cellular Pathology Service fit for the 21st Century.
